Acceptance
By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Vetalio.
What the service does
The app lets you record daily observations about your pet, track medications and stock, view trends, export a report for your vet, record and read back a vet visit, and ask questions of an AI triage assistant. Vetalio provides general information to help you observe and track your pet's health. It is not a veterinary service, it does not diagnose or prescribe, and it is not a substitute for examination by a licensed veterinarian.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you record, for your pet's care, and for seeking veterinary attention when needed. You must be at least 16 years old to hold an account. Keep your sign-in credentials secure; anyone with access to your account can see and change your pet's records.
Recording other people
If you use the vet visit recorder you are responsible for having permission to record the conversation, from everyone whose consent the law where it happens requires. See the separate notice on recording consultations. Do not use this feature to record anyone covertly.
Household sharing
If you invite household members, they can view and modify records for the pets you share, and their actions are attributed to them. They may also use AI features, which draw on your allowance. Remove access in Settings when it is no longer appropriate.
Subscriptions
Pro features are sold as auto-renewing subscriptions through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel them in your store account settings. Pro includes monthly allowances of AI questions and vet visit readings, shown in the app. Unused allowance does not carry over. Refunds are handled by the store you bought through, under its policy, not by us.
Changes to the service and to these terms
We may change or discontinue features. Where a change materially affects your rights we will raise the version of these terms and ask you to accept them again before you continue. If you do not accept, you may stop using the service and delete your account.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service for anything unlawful, do not attempt to extract or abuse the AI service, and do not use it to provide veterinary advice to others as if it were professional advice.
Your content
What you record stays yours. You grant us only the permission we need to store it, show it back to you and the household members you invite, and process it to provide the features you use. We claim no other rights over it and we do not use it to train AI models.
No warranty
The service is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow this exclusion, in which case it does not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pet Longevity is not liable for any harm to an animal or person, or for any loss, arising from use of the app or reliance on information it presents, including AI-generated content, missed or delayed reminders, or an incorrect reading of a vet visit. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Apple and Google
These terms are between you and us, not with Apple or Google. They are not responsible for the app or for support, and they have no obligation to address any claim about it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms as they apply to the iOS app and may enforce them. You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as terrorist-supporting, and are not on any US Government prohibited-party list.
Ending the agreement
You may delete your account at any time in Settings, which permanently erases your data. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
If part of this is unenforceable
If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply and that provision is narrowed only as far as necessary.
Governing law and disputes
TO BE COMPLETED BEFORE LAUNCH: the governing law and the forum for disputes will be stated here once the operating entity is registered. Nothing in this section will remove a consumer's right to bring proceedings in their own country of residence where local law grants it.
